2024 Estate Pinot Noir:
"A forestry of red cherries, redcurrants and foraged huckleberries. A hint of maple leaf and Assam tea. Spices verge on the red pepper strands, sumac and paprika. Acidity carries the intensity of fruit, high and mighty, with soft tannins and a dewy finish. A wine that wakes you up and keeps the party going. 91 points." - Shanteh Wale, Halliday.
2022 Block 3 Pinot Noir:
"Medium-light ruby with a faint trace of purple, and sweet cherry aromas, laced with smoky spices and a touch of Campari, the wine is light-medium weight but also intense, bright and elegant, balanced and quite long, with fine grained tannins that are light but firm. Very smart wine indeed. 93 points." - Huon Hooke, The Real Review.
2023 Reserve Pinot Noir:
"This is a blend of the best one-year-old puncheons of Block 1 and Block 3, plus a puncheon of Block 1 in new oak. Sometimes, with Reserve wines, trust goes a long way, and here is why loyalty pays its dividends. Colmar wines are a journey; they tell stories, and the '23 vintage told its story in elegant tones. On opening the wine, it was quiet at first, but the right burgundy glass or a delicate decant has this wine dancing. Persimmons, red cherries, goji berries, hibiscus, tulip, and autumn leaves. Oak spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cumin sit behind the wine in waiting. Acidity thrills. It is drinking well now but can age another five to six years. 95 points." - Shanteh Wale, Halliday
