The fruit for this wine was picked fairly early in the season imbuing it with nice acidity and some ginger and lychee characters in addition to the usual rosewater. There’s a perfumed lift on the nose, yet this is a subtle gewurztraminer that’s just starting to relax after a stint in old French puncheons. It will continue to blossom in the bottle and display a supple, textural quality on the palate.
