Come to Orange this Summer!

Despite being located in the Central West of NSW, Orange can thank its high altitude for the relatively mild summer days. If it's stinking hot in Sydney, it's generally 10 degrees cooler out here. Plus, there just so happens to be an array of fun activities to ensure you have a great summer holiday!

The Oriana

This retro motel opens their Summer Kitchen every year. Enjoy a wood fired pizza in the garden followed by a cocktail and dip in the adjacent pool. There's even a martini bar!

Spilt Milk

When the weather is heating up, you'll want to cool down with the best homemade gelato in Orange. Featuring 100% natural local ingredients, there is always a long queue snaking out of their shop with good reason!

Lake Canobolas

Located just 10 minutes out of town, the lake is the perfect place to have a swim, tire out the kids on the playground, or go for a scenic walk. You can bring your own picnic and make the most of the bbq facilities, or pick up lunch from the delicious Lakeside Kiosk Cafe.

Hillside Harvest

A fantastic activity for kids and big kids alike, head to Hillside Harvest to pick your own seasonal fruit. In the warmer months boysenberries, nectarines and apricots are thriving! Plus there's a farm stall and cafe onsite too.

It would be rude not to include ourselves, so come on down and enjoy a tasting at Colmar Estate in our air conditioned cellar door! We have a range of sparkling, white, rose and lighter bodied reds which are perfect for the warmer months.
